When you begin the process of buying a house, you don’t really consider that you’re also looking for a home. This process, involving likely the largest investment a person will ever make in their life, ends up ironically becoming very destabilizing. In our case, this investment required so much more than we could have imagined, and it initially felt like maybe we’d bought a house, but we were years from feeling like we could call it home. Initially, we’d asked Casey to consult on replacing the floor of the bathroom in our first home, as it was the primary project that we couldn’t ignore before moving in. As we began to look closer at the severe neglect that our house had endured by its previous owners, we realized there was a lot more than the bathroom floor that needed replacing and restructuring. As we began coordinating with our various contractors, it became equally clear that we were in over our heads, financially and strategically.

In Casey’s case, he really understands what it means to be home, and he is someone who really loves and values what a home is. There were deeper things that made this process of purchasing a home for the first time more precarious for me personally, but every step of the way, Casey brought nothing but grounded wisdom and vision to the renovation of our home. You wonder sometimes whether you have made the right choices in life, and sometimes you are just unsure. I am certain that I could not have worked with a better carpenter and general contractor than working with Cronin and Craft on our home. Casey doesn’t just want you to have a house–he genuinely wants you to have a home.

Covid was made so much easier for me, because I had Cronin Craft remodel my kitchen in 2018. Casey exceeded my goals and expectations for the project(and the kitchen still looks perfect and functions so well) Casey is exceptionally good with all facets of a remodeling. The craftsmanship is/was excellent along with all the other aspects of having a kitchen remodeled. Casey remolded my kitchen and living room. I was out of the country when he did the work. It took great deal of planning before the project and he was attentive and easy to work with . The results were excellent and he was able to deal with all the problems you run into in a remodel.His work was of the highest quality and he was easy and pleasant to work with. Skilled craftmanship and excellent project management! I was fortunate to engage Cronin Craft for a near-total renovation of my kitchen (and a few related matters) for two months in late 2025 and early 2026. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Casey and Brian from start to finish. Casey is scrupulous in planning, organizing, and managing the project, from initial consultation through all of the anticipated details and unexpected developments that inevitably arise. He provides constant feedback and is transparent in costing and billing. Both he and Brian are highly skilled in finished carpentry and could come up with creative custom solutions to installation challenges. They work closely with their own set of subcontractors. I live in a townhouse community and was concerned about noise and traffic and debris, but they managed the entire project in such a considerate manner that there was never an issue with the neighbors. All in all, I highly recommend Cronin Craft. They exceeded all my expectations, and I look forward to working with them again

Casey Cronin of Cronin Craft has done several projects for me over the years. He has demonstrated fine craftsmanship in every situation from refurbishing my unusable tilting garage into a perfect space inside and out, to fixing windows, creating a side door in garage, fixing outside stairs, adding insulation under floor of sunporch, and several other smaller jobs.
In addition, he always listened to my comments and worked with me to explain my options. He always completed work on time and cleaned up the space and materials. His estimates were fair and he stayed within budget.
